We can bring your floral ideas to life
with creative & inspiring floral designs
Hand Tied Bouquets
Our hand tied bouquets are the most thoughtful of our floral designs. We take our time to make sure every bloom is in the perfect place. We're thrilled that you have asked us to be part of your big day, and we know this will be what you clutch on to as you say 'I do'.
Let us transform your ceremony and reception space into a secret garden. These focal pieces will create a lush floral backdrop for your wedding vows, first dance & lasting memories.
Table Top Decor
Just like your love story, our floral arrangements are full of romance. Our garden inspired floral designs will have your guests feeling the love throughout your wedding reception.
Bringing your floral ideas to life
Planning a wedding is no small feat, and we are here to offer you a seamless and genuine floral experience. We start off our complimentary consultations with the most important questions - How did you and your partner meet? We love to see you smile as you talk about what brought you together, and ultimately what brings us together too.
We like to meet our prospective clients in person to go over small details, share our creative floral experiences, and create a unique visual quote for you to take home. Our quotes are always commitment free until you are ready to book your date with us.
After our initial consultation, we are available through correspondence or for a second consultation as your wedding date approaches. We know that sometimes details change, and can accommodate adjustments to floral quotes and orders up to 30 days before your wedding date.
On your big day, we will be there to bring all of the creative ideas on your visual quote to life. We hand deliver bouquets, and work hard to create an inspiring floral setting for the most important day of your life.
Behind the Blooms
Ruth Laurie / Founder
I discovered my passion and love for floral design at Bloom School by Blush and Bloom in Toronto. After enrolling in their Wedding and Event Floral Design program, I was immediately drawn to the natural garden style arrangements I was learning to create. As I completed my first course, I knew I had found an outlet for my creativity and had developed a new passion for floral design. I decided to follow up with a one-on-one mentorship with Bloom School founder Becky De Oliviera to refine my skill set and perfect a my own unique style of floral design.
Aside from flowers, some of my other passions include photography and travelling. When I am not helping couples plan their wedding day florals, I am usually spending time with my Fiancé and newborn son, Parker - and of course, planning my own wedding!
Before Bellwood Blooms I spent many years working in the hospitality industry which is the foundation I have built Bellwood Blooms upon. My ultimate goal is to inspire my clients with a genuine and sincere approach to floral design. My favourite aspect of this industry is meeting new people, getting to know their story and helping them create a beautiful wedding day.
