Chris & Lauren’s Dreamy Estate Wedding

Chris and Lauren are both incredibly kind and sincere souls, they are without a doubt the perfect pair. We first met at a coffee shop in Parkdale, and I remember feeling so comfortable talking with them both, as if I was catching up with old friends.

With some help from Shaw Events, Lauren succeeded at planning a dreamy NOLT wedding at Gracewood Estates, Kurtz Orchard. Gracewood Estates is a hidden gem tucked away between a woodland estate and an apple orchard. The Victorian era home is surrounded by perfectly manicured gardens (with fountains!), and whimsical weeping willows.

I remember working on their ceremony floral decor early that fall day while listening to birds chirping, with no one else around. It was a magical feeling and there truly was something special in the air that day when Lauren & Chris got married.

Lauren’s STUNNING dress was a vintage inspired effortless yet elegant design by A La Robe Paris, purchased from Toronto’s Lovers Land Boutique. Her ceremony look included a floor length veil, and a delicate jewel hair piece.

Chris wore a bespoke Tiger of Sweden suit. He went for a classic look, but don’t think we missed that subtle leg stripe Chris!

Not only did he look stylish on his wedding day, but that custom suit jacket also stole the show when Chris stopped mid-ceremony to wrap his jacket around his (almost) wife on this brisk October day. This was the part of their wedding video where we started to shed a few tears <3.

The bridal bouquet was romantic and ethereal. The figure eight design included Dahlias, Lisianthus and Snap Dragon in neutral ivory tones, dusty blush Quicksand Roses and accents of vintage mauve Amnesia Roses. The blend of mixed foliages is what gave this bouquet it’s whimsical design.

Lauren’s maids wore assorted shades of nude and grey. They held small neutral posies with hints of vintage mauve and flowing ivory chiffon ribbon.

The reception was held inside the marquee tent overlooking the apple orchard. The decor included blush chiffon runners, loose Italian Ruscus foliage, and assorted sized bud vases with mauve, blush and neutral florals scattered throughout the family style harvest tables. Each setting had a single sprig of Italian Ruscus beside the hand written name cards.

Thank you to Lauren and Chris for having us as part of your amazing wedding vendor team. We LOVED everything about this day, and look forward to becoming even better friends in the future!
