Sandi and Mike threw a June wedding to remember! Their vision of simple and elegant decor perfectly complimented their industrial reception space and the surrounding natural gardens.
The breezy June afternoon and lush gardens at Evergreen Brickworks provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic first look photos.
Sandi's Pronovias wedding gown was a modern and feminine silhouette with vintage lace and button down details. She was a vision of natural beauty, and this dress perfectly captured the timeless and classic feel of her wedding day.
The bridal bouquet was garden inspired, with lush foliage and a neutral ivory palette. The focal florals included local peonies, English garden roses, and premium white roses. The focal blooms were accented with white lilac, lisianthus, queen annes lace, stock flower and local orange blossom.
Sandi's maids wore matching dusty blue off-the-shoulder dresses. Their garden inspired bouquets were neutral and ivory posies to match Sandi’s bouquet.
Mike looked draper in a modern version of your classic black tuxedo. His white ranunculus boutonniere was a subtle symbol of the couples dutch ancestry.
The ceremony was held on the pavilion overlooking the pond and extensive natural gardens. The industrial copper arch was decorated with foraged greens and minimal white florals in an asymmetrical design. It was the perfect focal piece to accent the natural surroundings.
The tablescape included delicate glass bud vases with majolica spray roses, lisianthus, delphinium and queen annes lace. A trio of pillar candles was at the centre of these long harvest style tables, with a flowing runner of Italian ruscus to bring everything together.
With a classic palette of ivory, glass, and natural greens this wedding was the perfect combination of effortless style with subtle hints of glamour. Congratulations Sandi & Mike - we are thrilled to have been part of your day, and will remember this wedding for years to come!
